Origin
of the Scheme :
This
scheme was initially launched in Himachal Pradesh
during the year 1983-84.
MAIN
OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME :
The
main objective of this scheme is to liberate the scavengers
from existing obnoxious occupation of removing night
soil and filth on head by conversion of dry latrines
into hand flush systems.
